Xiaomi has launched a new fast charger in India called Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 Charger. It is priced at ₹999 ($13) and comes in a single white color option, unlike the nubia 65W GaN Charger Candy. The power adapter also ships with the same-colored 100cm (1M) USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable. Interested customers can buy it from, the company’s official online store.

The newly launched Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 Charger is the successor to 2019’s Mi 27W SonicCharge Charger. The latter debuted in India alongside Redmi K20 Pro as an optional accessory. However, POCO X2, which was unveiled in early 2020, ships with this charger

Similarly, the 33W charger is actually not new. Xiaomi bundles this charger with Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T Pro. On the other hand, POCO also ships it with POCO M2 Pro and POCO X3.

So you might be wondering why Xiaomi is launching this as a separate product? Because it is not only USB PD (Power Delivery) compatible but also supports Qualcomm QC (Quick Charge) 3.0 and operates at various speeds. Hence, it can be used for multiple devices and any non-Xiaomi may consider buying it because of its pricing and availability.
