Xiaomi has already scheduled its 2021 New Product Launch event on 29th March and the company has confirmed that it will be launching Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra smartphones at the same event.
A new report claims that the Xiaomi foldable smartphone has already passed the 3C certification process, which means that the phone’s launch is imminent. Given that there’s a big launch event on 29th March, the announcement could happen on the same day.
While not much is known about the foldable smartphone from Xiaomi, it is believed that the phone could be a part of the Mi MIX lineup, which the company uses for its experimental devices. This upcoming 5G smartphone
If the previous reports are to be believed, then the smartphone will come with a display size of around 7-inch with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipsetcamera sensor in the triple-camera module. It could run MIUI 12 and pack a 5,000mAh battery.
We expect that more details related to the upcoming foldable smartphone could surface online in the coming days, ahead of the official launch.
