The Vivo officially announced the 2020 Developer Conference earlier today (29th October 2020). The theme of this annual event was “Native Everything,” which will also have the company announce a new custom skin called Origin OS.
Previously, we had reported on Vivo possibly replacing Funtouch OS for a new custom skin. Now, it has been confirmed as the Chinese tech giant officially announced Origin OS. This new custom is also based on Android and is being made as a complete overhaul of the existing Funtouch OS. Vivo also took to the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo, to share the announcement.

The Vivo Developer Conference 2020 will focus on various different topics including apps, games, business cooperation, technology, IoT, and the new OS. Unfortunately, not a lot of information or finer details regarding the new custom skin is currently available. However, it has been confirmed as a remake of Funtouch, which might debut with the Vivo X60
