Today, Realme announced the Realme GT Neo as the world’s first phone powered by the 6nm Dimensity 1200 chipset. Redmi is also expected to launch a gaming-focused phone with a D1200 chip. A Chinese tipster revealed today that the model number of the upcoming Redmi gaming phone is M2104K10C. The Indian variant of the same phone may land in India as a POCO branded device.
According to the Chinese tipster, the upcoming Redmi gaming phone is codenamed as Ares. Past reports have suggested that the device could be sporting a quad-camera system led by a Sony IMX686 primary camera.
The Indian variant of the same device has an M20104K10I model number. Shown below is the phone’s listing at the IMEI database of India (via). It reveals that the device may arrive in the country as a POCO branded smartphone.
Since the Dimensity 1200 chipset offers a flagship-level performance like the Snapdragon 870 SoC, it appears the forthcoming Redmi gaming phone could be rebadged as a POCO F-series phone. Unfortunately, no other specs of the phone are known yet.
