Unisoc announces Android 11 support for six of its smartphone chips

With Android 11 getting officially released, China-based Unisoc has today announced that it will be upgrading six of its smartphone chipsets to have support for the newly launched version of the Android mobile operating system.

The chipsets, which are getting Android 11 support include Huben T618, Huben T610, Huben T310, SC9863A, SC9832E, and SC7731E, reports ITHome. The company says that it will provide equipment manufacturers with pre-tested, pre-certified, and fully compatible Android 11 one-stop solution.

Along with this, Unisoc has also launched a six-in-one quick upgrade program which as the name indicates, is a single upgrade package that can be adopted for six different smartphone platforms.

As for Android 11, it comes with some new features but the primary focus on the new version is to improve the user experience. It seems to be focusing on three areas — User Experience, Privacy, and Permission Control.

Google has started rolling out the new update to the Pixel series smartphones. Other smartphone manufacturers have also joined Google for the release of Android 11, including OnePlus, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Realme.
