Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in September last year and was made available for purchase in October. The South Korean giant had launched the Galaxy S20 FE 4G variant in India and now the 5G variant is on its way.
Now, a new report coming from Mukul Sharma claims that the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G edition will be launched and be available for purchase in India from 30th March. The development comes as the smartphone was recently spottedSamsung India website.
The major change in the device apart from the support for 5G connectivity is that is comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset instead of the Samsung Exynos 990 SoC found in the 4G variant.
As for the pricing details, the device is expected to be priced under Rs 50,000 (~$690) and is likely to compete against the likes of the OnePlus 9 series in the Indian market as well as some of the newly launched premium phones.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is an IP68 rated smartphone that features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ S-AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The device ships with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
