Samsung Galaxy F62 confirmed to feature 64MP main camera


Samsung India will be launching the Galaxy F62 smartphone on Feb. 15 at 12 PM (IST). The promo page of the phone available on Flipkart is being updated with its key specifications with each passing day. Earlier this week, the company confirmed that the Galaxy F62 is powered by the 7nm Exynos 9825 chipset

. Later, it revealed that the phone is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery and an S-AMOLED+ display. The smartphone is now confirmed to arrive with a 64-megapixel main camera.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 features a square-shaped camera module on its back. It is packed with four cameras. While the primary lens of the device is now confirmed, the configurations of its other cameras are yet to be revealed. Rumors are rife that it could be featuring the same 64-megapixel + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 5-megapixel (depth) quad-camera setup that can be found on the Galaxy M51 smartphone from last year. The Galaxy M51 also features a 32-megapixel front camera. A recent leak revealed that the F62 may arrive with a 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

Samsung Galaxy F62 revealed;

The Galaxy F62 is expected to house a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED+ display that will deliver a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to deliver flagship-like performance as it will come equipped with the Exynos 9825, which was previously seen on the Galaxy Note 10 series of smartphones. It features a side-facing fingerprint reader.


The 7,000mAh battery of the Galaxy F62 is expected to carry support for 25W fast charging. The handset may ship with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and One UI 3.1 based Android 11 OS. It could be priced under Rs 25,000 in India (~$343).
