The recently launched Mi 11, Redmi Note 9 4G (Redmi 9 Power, Redmi 9T), and POCO M3 have a dedicated secondary speaker at the top. But normally, most handsets use the earpiece as the second speaker, like on POCO F1.

Hence, it is a mystery whether the forthcoming Redmi K40 will have a standalone secondary speaker or earpiece for stereo effect. Also, Lu Weibing only talks about ‘Redmi K40’ and therefore, we cannot tell for sure if all the models in the series will come with dual speakers.
