The Realme 8 series is slated to go official on March 24 in India. Reports have revealed that the company will be announcing two handsets such as Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro through its next launch event. Ahead of the launch, the Realme 8 has received approval from the National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) regulatory of Thailand.
The NBTC certification confirms that the Realme handset with RMX3085 will debut as the Realme 8 in Thailand. It has also received approval from other certification platforms like the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), and Indonesia Telecom. Unfortunately, these listings have not revealed any information on the major specs of the Realme 8.
At the beginning of this month, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth shared an image to reveal some of the specifications of an Helio G95 powered smartphone. It appears that Sheth may have revealed the specifications of the Realme 8 handset.
Based on the image shared by Sheth, it can be said that the Realme 8 has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, an Helio G95 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W rapid charging. For photography, it will arrive with a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera. It will come preloaded with Android 11 OS. It could be coming in options like
