OPPO entering the tablet market is quite interesting given that there are a handful of brands that are launching Android tablets. While companies like Lenovo are focusing on the budget segment, only brands like Samsung and Huawei have premium devices. Xiaomi used to have tablets but there has been no update for the past few years.
Currently, the tablet market is being dominated by Apple’s iPad line up and the company has multiple offerings in this space. It will be interesting to see what OPPO has up its sleeves and what price range the company is targeting for its tablet.
As for the laptop, the company will be competing against the likes of Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi which have already expanded their offerings from smartphones to laptops. However, there’s no information available about the upcoming notebook from OPPO but we expect to know more about it in the coming weeks or months.
