The Reno5 Pro+ will be the third Reno phone to come with a Snapdragon 800 series chipset since the Reno 5G and Reno Ace that were both announced last year. The Reno 5G has a Snapdragon 855 processor while the Reno Ace launched with the slightly more powerful Snapdragon 855+.
OPPO released a poster showing us what the phone looks like, and it sure looks really nice. The phone will be available in two color variants – black and a color-shifting blue – with a luster-like finish. The front, which is not visible in the image is home to a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a punch hole and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Reno5 Pro+ will also maintain the lightweight + slim design of its other siblings. its dimensions have been given as 159.9 x 72.5 x 7.99 mm and its weight is 184 grams.
The phone has four rear cameras, one of which is a periscope zoom lens. It has been reported that the Reno5 Pro+ will come with Sony’s IMX766 50MP sensor as its main camera. It will also have a 16MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie camera is said to be a 32MP sensor.
We expect the Reno5 Pro+ to be available for pre-order immediately after it launches but we can’t say if it will go on sale before the year ends or in early January 2021.
