At the end of the previous month, the OPPO Reno5 Pro+ 5G smartphone with model number CPH2207 was spotted at certification platforms like the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Bluetooth SIG. Now, the smartphone has appeared in the database of Global Certification Forums (GCF), which indicates that its global launch could be close at hand.
In December, OPPO announced the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G phones in China. Later in the same month, the company held a dedicated unveil event to announce the more advanced Reno5 Pro+ 5G. It was speculated at that time that the smartphone will remain exclusive to the Chinese markets. However, recent certifications suggest that it could be coming soon to the different markets outside China.
While GCF certification has not revealed any details on the specs of the CPH2207. Its FCC appearance had revealed a few pieces of information such as a 4,450mAh rated battery, 65W fast charging, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and 5G support. It is likely that the global edition of the Reno5 5G could be coming with identical specs as its Chinese version.
