The OnePlus Watch launched yesterday as the first smartwatch from OnePlus. Priced at $159 in the United States, OnePlus US is offering all of its community members a discount towards the purchase of the smartwatch.
According to a post on the OnePlus Forums, community members in the United States and Canada will get a $20 credit towards their purchase of the smartwatch. The Appreciation Credit, as OnePlus calls it, will be available for redemption until April 14.
There is 1GB of RAM paired with an STM32 processor and 4GB of onboard storage that allows you to store up to hundreds of audio files. The watch can track more than 110 different workout modes. It also has a Blood oxygen sensor that tracks your SpO2 level even when you are sleeping, a heart rate sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, and a barometer.
OnePlus says that the watch can be used to answer calls, check messages, control media playback, and also even control OnePlus TVs. When connected to a OnePlus TV, it will automatically turn the TV off 30 minutes after it senses you have fallen asleep. The 412mAh battery will last up to 14 days in typical usage mode but it drops to 25 hours for heavy usage and with GPS turned on.
