The OnePlus 8T launch will start later today (14th October) and will have the company launch its new flagship alongside some other peripherals as well. However, just prior to its launch, a new leak has revealed a few key specs of the OnePlus Buds Z.
According to known leakster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the OnePlus Buds Z will feature 3D stereo audio powered by Dolby Atmos. In the tweet, he also revealed that the latest truly wireless earbuds from the Chinese brand will support Bluetooth 5.0 along with Qualcomm’s Quick Pair. Furthermore, the new earbuds would offer up to 20 hours of playback on a full charge and can offer up to 3 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. If this is true, we can expect some form of quick charging.
Apart from revealing the key specifications of the upcoming earbuds, the leakster also stated that the new OnePlus Buds Z will also arrive in a special edition by Steven Harrington, who is a Californian based contemporary artist. Unfortunately, we will have to wait for the official launch event to know for sure. Although, a few of the leaks like the 10mm drivers are in line with reports we had covered previously
Similarly, we had also previously reported on the OnePlus Buds Z’s battery capacity and fast charging rates. However, the Dolby Atmos 3D Stereo Audio is a notable inclusion to its specifications. The Qualcomm Quick Pair feature is also a welcomed addition as well. So stay tuned for more updates and the launch event that we will be covering later today.
