BBK subsidiary OPPO has already confirmed that it will be launching the Reno3 Pro smartphone without a 5G modem in India soon. The launch date has been set for March 2 but before then, the model has reportedly gone up for pre-order across various retailers in India including e-tailers such as Amazon and Flipkart.
The non-5G Reno3 Pro pre-order is offered with a free gift of an Oppo wireless speaker for the first 1,000 customers who make a downpayment for the purchase. Another 1,000 customers will get the chance to win wireless Oppo Enco earbuds with active noise cancellation or complete damage protection for the device.
The OPPO Reno3 Pro in question is different in some aspects of the design apart from the absence of a 5G modem. Official teaser point to the presence of a dual punch hole for the selfie cameras, with one of the shooters being a 44 MP camera. The display also seems to be a flat panel as against a 2.5D curved panel on the 5G version. Some leaked specs suggest an Helio P95 chipset and up to 12 GB RAM, as well as 30W fast charging.
