Earlier this month, certain specs of a Motorola smartphone codenamed ‘Ibiza’ leaked. The parameters of this device suggested it to be a budget 5G handset. Now, a couple of weeks later, this phone has been also certified by WiFi Alliance.
The upcoming Motorola Ibiza smartphone is expected to come with model number XT2137. Ahead of its launch, this phone has been now spotted on WiFi Alliance. According to the listing, it will launch with Android 11, which we already know. In other words, the WiFi certification does not reveal anything new, except for the fact that it may launch soon.
According to the leak from early January, the Motorola Ibiza aka Motorola XT2137 will be powered by Qualcomm SM4350 chipset codenamed ‘Holi’. This silicon is nothing but the Snapdragon 480 SoC that went official around two days after this leak.
