The countdown is already on towards the February 4 launch of the Poco X2. POCO India has been consistent in releasing teasers of the upcoming device which will be the brand’s first model since it went solo. The tech giant has released yet another teaser video on its official Twitter handle.
The teaser basically erases any doubt that the upcoming model is a rebadged Redmi K30. The video shows what looks very much like the Redmi K30 purple variant. The video lived up to its billing as a teaser since it didn’t allow us to have a focused look at the design., However, the side-mounted fingerprint sensor which doubles as the power button. The rear camera arrangement is also similar to what the K30 utilised.
This discovery really shouldn’t hit anyone as a surprise. The cues have been everywhere this past few days. Even though we have seen the signs, some still wish they were untrue. The Poco X2 is coming two years after the company first launched the Poco F1. So, we had expected an upgrade. That befitting upgraded model may still be in the works.
