iQOO is expected to bring a host of devices like the iQOO 7 to countries like India. In the meantime, it has finally locked the launch date for the iQOO Neo5 smartphone in China.
In a Weibo post, the company posted the announcement and confirmed the “iQOO Neo5” moniker. The device will debut in China on March 16. In a teaser poster, the company has also confirmed that the device will feature a centered punch-hole display.

Speaking of which, a retail box and charger leak also briefly showed the front of the Neo5 recently. Anyway, the display said to be an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution will at least be a 2400×1080(FHD+).
Under the hood, it will surprisingly be poweredAndroid 11 OS. Other expected specs include a Triple-camera on the back with a 48MP Sony IMX 598 main lens, a 13MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP sensor.
Considering the predecessor, iQOO Neo3 had a 16MP selfie shooter upfront, we can expect the successor to at least have the same if not lower. The iQOO Neo5 will likely have a 4,400mAh battery with 66W FlashCharge support, SA/NSA 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and more.
Reports also say that iQOO might launch Neo5 at 2,999 yuan($465) which is about 300 yuan more than the predecessor’s launch price. However, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt and wait for the official word.
