Huawei has not been as vibrant as it used to in terms of product releases, no thanks to sanctions by the Trump’s U.S administration that cut off the company from access to chip for its smartphones. Huawei was able to launch the Mate X2 foldable phone with a Kirin 9000 chip as a result of inventories it stockpiled before the ban went into effect. In the same manner, the company is also expected to announce the Huawei P50 around April this year.case has appeared online to lend some credence to the rendered design. The protective case contains two large cut-outs at the rear for the camera modules.
The Huawei P50 series is expected to arrive with a dual-camera setup with the two camera sensors having an extraordinarily large round aperture each of equal sizes. However, the configuration of the camera setup is yet to be revealed. There are speculations, though, that the P50’s camera setup will include an industry-first 1-inch Sony IMX800 sensor.
This leaked protective case is a third-party accessory but it goes to confirm that the device will likely arrive with the unique design that was leaked by Onleaks. We expect more details of the P50 series to emerge as the expected launch date draws closer.
