The recently launched Huawei P40 series is receiving a new software update in China. The update bumps up the phone’s build number to EMUI 10.1.0.122 and brings a number of new features including a new high megapixel mode in the camera app, new smart video playback option, and a new clock style for AOD.
The new EMUI 10.1.0.122 update for Huawei P40 series weighs 711MB in size. Although the update will nor erase anything, the company suggests creating a backup just in case. The official changelog for the update is as mentioned below (translated from Chinese).
