Huawei has been teased to launch a few products on 10th September in its home market China, including the Huawei GT series smartwatch and Huawei Fit. Now, the company has confirmed to launch its latest Huawei FreeBuds Pro in China on 10th September.
The development comes just a few hours after some of the details related to the true wireless earphones were leaked online through Weibo. The company has already launched a few models in the series and now it seems that Huawei has ditched the number-based name for the “Pro” suffix.
The recent leak related to the Huawei FreeBuds Pro reveals that the earphones are codenamed “Mermaid” internally and will come with some advanced features related to the noise-canceling capabilities. Given that the company is called them “Pro”, we expect some advanced features worth looking forward to.
The most recently launched model in the lineup is the Huawei FreeBuds 3i, which as the name suggests, is an iteration of the FreeBuds 3 and aims to offer premium features like active noise cancellation at a cheaper price.
The Huawei FreeBuds 3i comes in two color options — Ceramic White and Carbon Black and are priced at £90 in the UK, which is roughly $110. The TWS headsets were recently launched in India for ₹9,990 (~$135).
